Requires macOS 15.6 or later EVERY UVC CONTROL, IN ONE PLACE Auto-Exposure Mode and Priority · Exposure Time · Gain · Aperture · Focus and Auto-Focus · Zoom · Pan and Tilt · Brightness · Contrast · Hue and Auto-Hue · Saturation · Sharpness · Gamma · White Balance Temperature and Auto White Balance · Backlight Compensation · Power Line Frequency (anti-flicker) · Privacy Shutter — plus HDR on cameras that support it. Webcam Works shows every control your camera offers and hides the rest. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your Mac. Your camera feed never leaves the device — preview, effects, and recordings are processed and stored locally, saved only where you choose.

Polish and reliability improvements for a smoother Webcam Works experience. • More webcams keep their controls working. If a camera stops responding to a slider, Webcam Works gets it back instead of leaving the controls stuck. • Record waits until your camera is really sending video, so a take never starts on a blank feed. If the microphone drops out mid-take, the video keeps recording. • Leave Webcam Works in the background for a while and your camera is ready again the moment you come back. • When macOS doesn't hand the Virtual Camera to your other apps, Webcam Works tells you what happened and walks you through fixing it, instead of leaving you waiting. • Background removal keeps hair and edges looking their best without making the picture stutter. • Small touches: the window always opens fully on screen, Open at Login now lives in the Webcam Works menu, and prompts wait until you're not on camera, recording, or in a Teleport session.
