DrivePulse connects to your car's OBD2 socket through an ELM327 adapter and keeps your trips, fuel use, costs, deadlines and diagnostics on your phone. The home screen shows where you parked, the battery status, your range, what you have spent and how your last trip went. Car, motorbike or scooter: one profile each, with separate data. WORK TRIPS (new) Mark which trips are for work and the app prepares the report: odometer, distance, expenses and receipts, per trip or per period, in PDF and CSV. It is a record for your accountant or whoever pays back your travel, not a tax document. REFUELS AND RECEIPTS (new) When the fuel level goes up, the app sends you a notification with the refuel already filled in, and you save it with one tap. It also works for LPG, CNG and charging in kWh. Or take a photo of the receipt or the pump display: the app reads litres, price and total and lets you check them before saving. AUTOMATIC TRIPS With the adapter plugged in you don't press anything: the trip starts when you switch the car on and ends when you switch it off. Each trip has the route on a map coloured by speed, duration, distance, cost, temperatures, battery and range. If you stop for fuel or lunch, pause it: the trip resumes when you say so and stays a single trip. The history keeps expenses and favourite places. DRIVING TIPS Besides the score, the Eco Score tells you what to change: large on the car's screen and in Driving analysis on the phone. At the start of a trip, with a cold engine, it counts for less, because fuel use says little then. CAR HEALTH Battery, engine, temperatures, DPF and AdBlue in green, amber or red, with a sentence that explains. A value not read yet stays empty instead of turning into a zero. PARKING When you get out, the app saves where you left the car and walks you back to it. FUEL AND COSTS Distance, fuel spending, consumption in L/100 km, km/l or mpg (kWh on electric cars), Eco Score and estimated savings. The score rewards efficiency, never speed. Monthly or yearly summary to share. DEADLINES Reminders for insurance, road tax, MOT and service, by date or by distance, handy with a lease too. From the chassis number (VIN) the app works out the vehicle details. CARPLAY AND SIRI From CarPlay you start and end trips and look at the dashboard, which you choose. With Siri: "Hey Siri, start my trip with DrivePulse", and the same for pause, resume and end, also from Shortcuts. DIAGNOSTICS (PRO) With an OBD2 ELM327 adapter, Bluetooth or WiFi: trouble codes explained with what to do, every parameter your ECU exposes, a guided battery test while the engine starts, DPF regenerations. The app only reads. It does not clear codes, does not reset anything and does not write to the ECU. One exception: on the electric Citroën e-C3, Fiat Grande Panda and Opel Frontera there is a probe you start by hand; to re-read one value it opens the extended diagnostic session for a moment and goes straight back to the normal one. Even there it writes nothing. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER Your data stays on your phone. No ads, no tracking. PRICE Free for 7 days or 15 trips, whichever comes first, with everything on except extended diagnostics (one free reading with the adapter connected). Then a single purchase unlocks everything for good. No subscription. Note: the app only works with an OBD2 ELM327 adapter plugged into the car's diagnostic socket. Without it, only reminders and manually entered expenses remain, and trips are not recorded.

What's new in this version: • You can now use the app with the phone turned sideways: the driving dashboard puts the dial to one side, the trip page shows map and figures next to each other, and statistics sit in two columns. • The Insights page has been rebuilt. Every tip says which data it comes from, the thresholds are your car's own, and at most five tips are shown up front. New tips include what cold starts cost you, your cost per km and why, the fuel station where you pay more, a battery that starts weaker than usual, an engine that does not reach temperature, a refuel you forgot to log between two full tanks, a fault code that keeps coming back, a lease heading over its allowance, and what sets your best runs apart from your worst on a route you drive often. A tip only appears when there is enough data. • If your fuel use rises with the cold, Insights tells you so instead of raising an alarm. • Challenging a friend in the Eco Game is easier: there is a Send a challenge button, and a hint in Trips shows you where to find it. • Under the trip map, one tap chooses whether the route is coloured by speed or by fuel use. Fuel use is only available when that trip has the data, and the choice is kept. • Fuel use now says whether the engine computer measured it or it is an estimate. When it is an estimate, the app asks for two full tanks to calibrate to your car. • On CarPlay, revs and speed are always shown, also while driving, and they update much more often. • The Live dashboard shows DPF regeneration on cars that report it: it turns orange while it is running. • Clearer error messages. If a receipt cannot be read, the app tells you what to do: more light, the whole receipt in the frame, or type the figures in. • The notification for a new record on a regular route opens your routes, and that page now explains what it is for. • Fix: with “Automatic backup” on, your parking spot and the widget map go into the phone backup too. • A trip split in two gets merged from the list: the time that was not recorded stays written down. • Every fault code has its own page: what it means, how serious it is, what to do. Thousands of codes, manufacturer ones included. • The report for the workshop: freeze frame, permanent codes and engine data, as a PDF or a spreadsheet. • A car you sold gets archived instead of deleted, and trips recorded on the wrong profile move to another car in one go. • The Live dashboard says how fresh each reading is; the rev counter uses your own car's range. • The DPF is counted in distance between regenerations, with an estimate of the next one. Those inferred from temperature count from five minutes. • When a lease ends the mileage freezes, with the expected refund for the unused distance. • The mileage report for work trips is easy to find and use, with every manual change listed. • Receipts and invoices go into the backup with a switch, off by default. • Several due dates on the same day: one notification. If the phone has denied notifications, the app says so. • The connection explains what is wrong: wrong Wi-Fi network, generic adapter, silent engine computer. • When a trip starts or ends the app tells Shortcuts. • LPG and CNG: the second tank has its own capacity, price and fill-ups. • From the receipt photo the app also reads the date of the fill-up. • For an electric car the Insight tips think in kWh. • The Errors screen shows which of the engine computer's self checks are complete. • Expense log: fuel, AdBlue, tolls, parking and maintenance in one list, with the total. AdBlue can be added from the + button too. • Flex and ethanol: pick them in the vehicle profile, and consumption and CO2 use the right figures for ethanol. • Boost gauge: turbo pressure in the Live dashboard. • Fault codes from the gearbox and instrument cluster too, on VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat and Cupra. • The live dashboard, a tap away in OBD Diagnostics. • Two charts in a trip: speed and fuel use.
