RAW Supersampler is a macOS utility for reducing and organizing Nikon NRAW footage while keeping the material in a camera RAW format. Convert supported Nikon NEV and R3D-NE clips to 6K, UHD or Proxy (1920×1080). Choose NEV, R3D-NE or retain the source container. The app processes RAW data without debayering or cropping and preserves camera metadata, timecode and audio. Choose from four source-aware compression profiles: • CQ1 Max Quality — prioritizes maximum image quality at the selected resolution. • CQ3 High — preserves high image quality with moderate file size savings. • CQ5 Normal — balances quality and file size for editing and grading. • CQ7 Proxy — creates space-efficient proxy files for smooth, responsive editing or archival workflows. Batch workflow features include recursive folder processing, preserved folder structure, pause and resume, safe restart of unfinished batches, comparison conversions and an optional copy/archival mode with verification. The free version creates trial outputs with a visible watermark and a _TRIAL filename suffix. A single non-consumable Unlock Lifetime License removes these trial limitations and can be restored through the Apple Account used for the purchase. What's New in 1.3.0 • Significant speed improvements, up to 40 % faster conversion time. • Estimated conversion time remaining helps you plan longer batches. Estimates adapt to recent processing speed and clip resolution, pause with the task, and exclude archival copying. • Conversion tabs and settings return after an interrupted session, restart or update. Ready, running and paused tasks are restored; completed tasks stay completed. • Multiple tasks can share an output folder when their planned files do not overlap. Conflicts are detected before conversion starts. Copy / Archival mode now verifies the task's own files without treating unrelated files in the destination as errors. • Failed conversions retain their last progress, mark the tab as Failed and show a concise notification. Full disks, disconnected drives and unexpected errors are handled more clearly. • Follow overall progress directly in each running tab, rename tasks, and keep your Mac awake while conversions are active. • Command-line batch automation is now available for professional workflows. • The new Help window includes the app version, complete public release history, website, support and App Store rating links.
