Let the physical notch disappear into the menu bar. BetterNotch uses a soft gradient to blend your MacBook's notch into the menu bar. Keep a simple transparent look, add Liquid Glass, or choose a fully black menu bar. Find the look you like, close the window, and the effect stays in place. Choose your own combination Both transparent and Liquid Glass appearances work with a smooth, static gradient or with Ink that flows gently and responds to your pointer. Blend the notch in, or leave its outline visible while changing the look of your menu bar. Refine the details Illustrated cards make choosing a look simple, with more controls in each card's detail panel. Adjust the blend width, shape the gradient curve, and choose the glass end shapes, with changes visible as you make them. Hold the comparison button to see the current display's original appearance; release to return to your effect. Fits into your day - Set up each display independently. Its settings are restored when you reconnect. - Keep the app icon in the menu bar or Dock, or hide it from both while effects keep running. - View each display's current look from the menu bar and open its controls directly. - Optional Launch at Login restores your effects without opening the main window. - Settings stay on your Mac. No account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Requirements Requires macOS 26 or later. Notch blending needs a display with a physical notch. Displays without a notch support transparent, Liquid Glass, and Black appearances. Before use, turn off “Show menu bar background” in System Settings → Menu Bar. BetterNotch provides guidance when system settings obstruct the effect.
