Studio Player: FLAC & Audio CD

説明

Studio Player is a native macOS audio player built for listeners who care about sound quality — not just playback. At its core is a professional-grade DSP engine, written from scratch for Apple Silicon: • 10-band parametric equalizer with switchable ISO and Musical (piano note) frequency modes • Lookahead limiter with soft/hard knee and true RMS detection — keeps your music loud and clean, never clipped • Independent bass, treble, and stereo balance controls with zipper-noise-free smoothing • Mono/stereo switching with adjustable shelving frequencies • LUFS loudness normalization (ITU-R BS.1770-4) with per-track and per-album gain — every song plays at a consistent, accurate level • Real-time VU metering with classic ballistic animation and peak hold • Sample-rate upsampling via CoreAudio (up to 192kHz) All of this runs with a remarkably light footprint — full DSP processing typically uses under 15% CPU. Play everything in one place: • Local files — MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC, WAV, OGG, Opus, WavPack, APE, DSD, and more • Audio CDs — insert and play, with automatic track lookup via MusicBrainz, plus ripping to your format of choice • Internet radio — add your own stations by URL, with live now-playing metadata Organize your library by Songs, Artist, or Album, edit metadata and artwork directly in the app, and save custom EQ + limiter presets per track. Designed like a piece of studio hardware — warm wood, brushed aluminum, and analog-style VU meters — Studio Player brings the feel of a real listening room to your Mac.

Bug fixes for Audio CD access: no more freezes when inserting a disc, and CDs now load and play correctly on macOS 12 and on Macs in languages other than English.
