Audio Normalizer measures and normalizes audio and video files to the loudness of your references or the standard of your platform — per ITU-R BS.1770-4, with true-peak limiting. Your files never leave your Mac. A focused app for a technically demanding task. The measurement now travels inside the file. • Loudness values in the Broadcast Wave chunk per EBU Tech 3285: every normalized WAV carries loudness, loudness range, true peak, momentary and short-term itself. Broadcast systems read them straight from the file, without a report on the side. • Menu bar item: shows what is running, what is queued and the last result, brings the window back and copies the report. It only appears when something is actually running in the background. (macOS 27) • Siri refers to what is on screen: "Open that in Preview" means the file you just normalized, not some other one. • New in metering: the highest momentary loudness in the 400 ms window per EBU Tech 3341.
