News App: RSS Reader & More

説明

News App turns your feeds into something you actually want to read. It is a native Mac app, built with SwiftUI, that respects your attention: no account, no ads, no tracking, no algorithm deciding what you see. Just your sources, in the order they publish. FOLLOW ANYTHING Paste a website address and News App finds the feed. RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds work, and so do YouTube channels and playlists, subreddits, Medium writers, Substack and Ghost blogs, Tumblr, Mastodon and Bluesky profiles, and GitHub releases. Import your existing library through OPML in one step, or start with a curated pack of quality sources. NEW: ICLOUD SYNC Turn on sync and your feeds, categories, bookmarks, read state, custom radio stations, and sidebar arrangement stay identical across your Macs. Everything lives in your private iCloud database. We never see it, and sync stays off until you choose to enable it. A READER THAT READS WELL Articles open in a clean reading view with the full text, typography worth staring at, and a header that tucks itself away while you scroll. Prefer the original page? One click switches to a web preview with ad blocking. Save articles as bookmarks and they keep their content, even after the story leaves the feed. YOUR FRONT PAGE, PRINTED DAILY The Daily Digest lays your feeds out like a newspaper: a lead story, category sections, and a masthead with today's edition number. It is the fastest way to catch up on a few hundred sources over coffee. LEAN BACK WITH TV MODE A full-screen ambient view rotates through headlines and imagery with live weather in the corner. Put it on a spare display and your feeds become something between a newsroom monitor and a screensaver. LIVE RADIO, BUILT IN Hundreds of curated news, talk, and music stations stream right from the sidebar. Add your own stations by URL; they sync too. MAKE IT YOURS Seven color moods, from Sepia to Ocean to Forest. Eight typography presets, from broadsheet serif to wire-service mono, with full control over fonts, type scale, and line spacing. Liquid Glass lets the desktop show through the window at exactly the opacity you choose. Keyboard shortcuts cover the whole app, so your hands never leave the keys. BUILT LIKE A MAC APP Fast with thousands of feeds. Local storage, OPML import and export, a real menu bar, proper keyboard navigation, and weather in the toolbar. News App is completely free. No subscription, no paywall, no upsell, no account.

Various and sundry bug fixes.
