- **More powerful screenshots:** Capture scrolling regions, extract text with OCR, use dedicated region/window shortcuts, and save images as WebP. - **A significantly upgraded editor:** Add and rotate emoji, text, shapes, and drawings; zoom and pan precisely; choose common aspect ratios and alignment; scale exported images from 10%–100%; or delete captures directly. - **Better video recording:** Record using H.264 or HEVC, correct A/V sync with adjustable audio offset, use a never-captured teleprompter, mute audio sources during recording, and improve microphone quality with limiting, wind-noise removal, and Continuity Camera support. - **Improved capture management:** Browse clips through a new details pane with previews, metadata, tags, notes, collections, sharing, and editing actions. Recent Captures now includes thumbnails. - **More flexible workflows:** Choose separate save folders, customize pre- and post-capture behavior, control multi-display capture, and prevent the display from sleeping while recording. - **Reliability and quality improvements:** Sharper Retina region captures, more accurate crop dimensions, better scrolling-capture stitching and memory use, improved secondary-display support, safer shortcut handling, and more resilient recordings.
