Yuko Scan for Food Safety

説明

Scan a barcode or the ingredients label and see what is really inside the food you are about to buy. WHAT YOU GET FROM ONE SCAN ● PLAIN-LANGUAGE VERDICT Yuko reads the ingredients and tells you what stands out: higher-risk additives, allergens listed on the pack, and nutrient levels that are high. When there is not enough information to judge, Yuko says that instead of pretending. ● ADDITIVE ENCYCLOPAEDIA 340+ E-numbers and other additives, each with a risk level and a plain explanation of what it is and what it does. Risk levels are based on EFSA, WHO, FAO and Turkish Food Codex assessments, and every screen links to the sources. ● THE FULL PRODUCT RECORD Nutri-Score, NOVA processing group and Green-Score, each with the breakdown that produced it. Full nutrition table per 100 g or per serving, with high/medium/low levels for fat, saturated fat, sugars and salt. Ingredients with allergens highlighted. Labels and certifications. Packaging and recycling. Origins, countries and stores. Product photos. ● PERSONAL AND FAMILY PROFILES Tell Yuko about allergies and health conditions, for yourself and for the people you shop for, and scans are checked against every profile. ● SCAN HISTORY Your scans are saved, so you can compare products later, offline. ● WORKS ON THE LABEL, NOT JUST THE BARCODE If a product is not in the database, point the camera at the ingredients list and Yuko reads it directly. WHO IT IS FOR Parents reading labels for their children, people managing allergies or a specific diet, anyone who wants to know what an unpronounceable ingredient actually is. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan the barcode, or the ingredients list 2. Read the verdict and the detail behind it 3. Tap any additive to learn what it is IMPORTANT Yuko is an information tool, not medical advice. Ingredient and allergen data comes from a community database and can be incomplete or out of date, so always check the pack itself, especially for allergies. Yuko now opens on your household. • A new Home. This month's count of labels read and warnings caught, your recent scans, and the additive catalogue ordered by the conditions the people at home actually have. • Your earlier scans count too. Scans you made before this update are folded into your monthly total, once, the first time you open Home. • A lighter look. White cards, one deep green, and verdict badges that stay readable in greyscale and in Dark Mode. • Yuko is now fully translated. Every screen exists in all 40 App Store languages, the permission prompts moved from 12 languages to 40, and every sentence that carries a number now uses the plural rules its language really has. • The reviews on the subscription screen are real App Store reviews, quoted as their authors wrote them. • Notification permission is no longer asked for at launch. It is offered quietly after your first successful scan, and in full only from Settings.
