Canada's weather: essential Canadian weather information taken from the best and most accurate source—Environment Canada—and presented in an appealing and rich format. Featured in Great Canadian Apps! NEW APP ARCHITECTURE Modular, reconfigurable - order the display to suit your preferences. New - weather alerts, notifications. Additional modules will be available to add in-app. WHY WE BUILT IT We found significant variation between the data reported by other weather apps and the information from the Environment Canada website. We also wanted to build an app with appealing visuals and as a framework to eventually offer alternate themes and additional information. WHY YOU SHOULD TRY IT Great visuals, accurate Canadian data, fast user-controlled refresh. Additional info for outdoor activities: sunrise/sunset, wind and windchill. FEATURES & FUN -Current temp to 0.1 °Celsius -Current conditions text. -6-day high/low/conditions/precipitation forecast. -Sunrise/Sunset -Pressure and pressure trend -Humidity -Windchill -Wind (direction, speed, gust speed) -location-aware -800+ reporting locations -English and French interface and data.
