Find any expense — and never forget one. SEARCH YOUR WHOLE HISTORY Transactions shows one month at a time, so it could never tell you when you last paid the dentist. Search can: type a word from the description, narrow by category, payment method or a range of dates, and every match comes back, newest first. It is in Settings, under Data, and it is free. A REMINDER TO ADD YOUR EXPENSES On iPhone and iPad, Balance now reminds you to log what you spent — on Sunday evening, to begin with. Choose the days and the time in Settings, under Reminder, or switch it off. Your partner's notifications also show while Balance is open now. RECURRING EXPENSES THAT END A recurring expense can stop on a date, or after a number of times. That is how installments go in: the amount of one, and how many there are. FILTER BY CATEGORY Transactions can be narrowed to one or more categories, and to more than one payment method.
