Descrizione

Play the game. Let your phone write it down. Prop your phone beside the board and NotateMate reads the moves as you play them — no scoresheet, no tapping between moves, no reconstructing the game afterwards from memory. THREE THINGS TO DO. THE REST IS AUTOMATIC. 1. Line up the board. Stand your phone next to the board and drag the four corners onto the corners of the board. Once per game. 2. Play. Each move is recognised as it lands and appended to the notation. Reach over the board, take your time, castle either way round — it waits for the position to settle. 3. Stop, and it's written. The finished game is already saved with its moves, players and result. Add names, then keep it, export it, or send it somewhere. THE CAMERA NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE Recognition runs entirely on the device. No frame of your board, your hands or the room around you is ever uploaded, stored on a server or seen by anyone. What can leave your phone is the list of moves — never the picture it came from. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. SHARE IT LIVE — ONLY IF YOU WANT TO Start a broadcast and you get a link. Send it to a parent, a coach or a club, and they watch the moves appear as you play them — in a browser, with no app to install and no account to make. Broadcasts can be public and listed for anyone to find, or link-only and reachable just by the people you send it to. THE GAME DOESN'T STOP AT THE NOTATION Every recorded game is standard PGN, so it goes wherever you already study. • Export a PGN file, or the whole game as an animated GIF for a group chat • Send a finished game straight to Lichess or Chess.com for analysis • Step through any saved game move by move on a full board • Sign in and your games follow you to another device WHAT IT NEEDS A standard chess set, reasonable light, and somewhere to stand your phone. No electronic board, no special equipment, no internet connection to record. If a position stops making sense, it tells you rather than guessing. You get a prompt instead of a wrong game recorded in silence. PLANS Free — record 3 games a month. No account needed. Scoresheet — unlimited recording, paid once. Recording only; no subscription, ever. Pro — unlimited recording, plus live broadcasting and your games synced across devices. Monthly or yearly, after a free trial. Every plan saves unlimited games on the phone, exports PGN and GIF, uploads to Lichess and Chess.com, and watches other people's broadcasts. What the paid plans change is how many games you can record, and whether you can broadcast your own. An account is only needed for broadcasting and syncing. Recording, saving and exporting all work without one, and games recorded while signed out never leave the phone. WHERE IT'S USED Club nights, practice games, coaching, skittles rooms, home study, and by organisers putting their boards online. Many rated events don't allow a phone switched on at the board — check with your arbiter before recording a rated game. Watching someone else's broadcast works on any plan, including Free. Anyone you send a link to can watch in a browser too — no app, no account required. Questions: [email protected]

Boss: What? A pawn promotes to a queen and you record it as a knight? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: What? Two pieces standing where there's only one? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: What? You lose track of the rank farthest from the camera? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: What? Two players agree to a draw and the app just... doesn't notice? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: What? The PGN file doesn't even say how the game ended? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: What? Someone shares a GIF and it doesn't say what app made it? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: What? A host can't even delete their own broadcast? Me: Yep. My bad. Fixed. Boss: ...Ship it. Me: On it. What I told Apple Review: sharper piece detection, smarter promotions, draw and broadcast alerts, better sharing.
