Roam builds the packing list for the trip you're actually taking, then makes sure it fits the bag you own. LISTS BUILT FOR THE TRIP Tell Roam where you're going, how long for, and what you'll be doing. It writes the list — climate, bag size, activities, your own essentials — and asks what it cannot know, like whether you'll do laundry, rather than guessing. Save one you'll want again and Roam merges it into the next trip. ONE TRIP, EVERY STOP Add each stop and its nights and Roam writes one list for the route. Four nights in Reykjavík and three in Lisbon gets you a coat and shorts, not an average that leaves you neither. YOUR DAYS, NOT JUST YOUR BAG Lay the trip out day by day and write what you mean to do. Inside ten days each day shows the weather hour by hour. Tag a plan with an activity and Roam packs for it; delete it and what it added comes out. THINGS TO DO, ALREADY WRITTEN Roam has written 1,834 suggestions for 139 places across the US and Europe, 237 with a photograph. Real things: the Lakefront Trail, a granita and brioche in Sicily. Every stop on a multi-stop trip gets its own, and taking one only offers the days you are in that city. Bundled, so they work on a plane. THE WEATHER FOR YOUR ACTUAL DATES Beyond ten days Roam shows what the month is typically like; inside ten days, the real forecast and what to add if the week turns wet. 360 cities and regions carry offline climate, and where Roam has none it says so and asks, rather than packing you for mild. BAG FIT Measure your bag once. Roam checks it against published cabin limits for 48 airlines and says whether it fits, is a tight fit, or is too large — before the airport, not at the gate. Give a trip its bags and Roam grades them together: personal item, carry-on and checked case, each against its allowance. PACK WITH SOMEONE ELSE Share a trip with whoever you're going with — both of you need Roam. You each keep your own list, and things only one of you must bring sit in a shared section: nobody packs two, nobody packs none. TRAVEL PASSPORT Every country you've visited, on a globe you can spin — 247 of them. Finish a trip and its country is yours; scratch the flag to collect it. Zoom in and eight countries open into their regions — the US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa — filled in by the cities on your trips. Turn it over for how far your trips add up to — always a range, never a made-up number. IT LEARNS WHAT YOU DON'T USE Mark what you never touched and Roam suggests it less for trips like that one — never on one trip alone, and all of it undoable. Widgets in three sizes, and packing progress on the Lock Screen. BUILT FOR VOICEOVER, AND FOR HOW YOU READ Every screen is labelled, and the actions that used to hide behind a menu — rename, reorder, delete — are on the rotor. The globe says where you have been by more than colour: a hatch for wishlist countries, a cross-hatch for visited states, outlines for islands too small to draw. Smart Invert leaves the paintings alone, and dark mode is drawn, not inverted. Dates and weights read the way your region writes them: 6 Aug in London, 8,4 kg in Berlin. NO ACCOUNT. YOUR TRIPS STAY YOURS. No sign-up, no password, no profile on a server. Your trips, bags and countries live on your device and are copied to your own iCloud — your account, not ours — so a reinstall brings them back. Roam includes advertising measurement so we can tell which ads work. iOS asks first; declining changes nothing. WHAT IT COSTS Roam is paid. There is no free tier. • Lifetime — $49.99, once • Yearly — $24.99 per year • Weekly — $3.99 per week Lifetime is a one-off purchase: nothing renews. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in Settings. Versione 1.20 · 24/09/2026Your own categories, in your templates. Templates can now hold categories you make, not just trips. Open any template, tap ••• at the top and choose New category — give it a name, pick a mark for it, and add things underneath. Every heading has its own ••• for renaming, moving and deleting, Roam's eight included, so a template can call Documents whatever you call it. Delete one you made and everything in it goes back where it came from; Roam tells you which before it happens. Saving a trip as a template now keeps your categories and your names for Roam's. A "Camera kit" you made on a trip comes along with everything in it, instead of quietly turning back into Tech. Build a new trip from that template, or add it to a trip you've already started, and it all comes back exactly as you left it. If two templates both have a "Camera kit", you get one — with everything from both inside it. Templates look like your packing list. Each category in a template used to sit on its own pale band, which made it look more like a settings screen than a list. Templates now share the packing list's page, headings and spacing. And there's a + at the top of Packing Templates, so starting a new one no longer means scrolling to the bottom. And one fix. After a trip, "What didn't you use?" was asking about everything under Roam's own categories, so something you'd filed in a category of your own turned up under Tech or Extras instead. It now asks under your headings, the same way your list shows them.
