Wet Bulb Temperature: WBGT

Descrizione

WBGT Heat shows the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) for your location, the heat-stress measure used by athletic trainers, the military, aviation, and workplace safety programs. Unlike a plain "feels like" number, WBGT combines temperature, humidity, wind, and direct sunlight to reflect the real strain heat puts on your body outdoors. FEATURES • Live outdoor WBGT for your current location or any city you search • Color-coded flag levels (White, Green, Yellow, Red, Black) with heat categories • Guidance tailored to your mode: Athlete, Military, Outdoors, Aviation, or OSHA • Hourly and 14-day outlook, view WBGT, air temp, humidity, wind, solar radiation, cloud cover, and pressure • Reference chart of flag categories and recommended activity levels • Fahrenheit or Celsius HOW IT WORKS WBGT is estimated from local weather (temperature, humidity, wind, solar radiation, and pressure) using the scientific model of Liljegren et al. (2008). Flag categories follow the U.S. military WBGT heat-category system (NAVMED P-5010). Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo. IMPORTANT This app is for general informational purposes only and is not medical, safety, or professional advice. WBGT values are estimates that may differ from on-site measurements. Always use your own judgment, follow official guidance, and seek medical help for any signs of heat illness. WBGT Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time Lifetime unlock. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings.
