SGFish

Descrizione

Ever encountered a fish within Singapore waters and wondered what you have seen? With SGFish, it can help you identify Singapore fishes in under 5 seconds. You can also record your observations and show them off to your friends! Your images will help serve as documentation for existence proof and research. The app also comes with a variety of fishing tools to assist you with your fishing trips as well. The best part? The app is offline and completely free!

SGFish 0.1.1 (13) — What's New TERMS & CONDITIONS - The app tour now ends with a Terms of Service step. - "Accept & Continue" stays greyed out until you tick the box. - Tapping "Terms and Conditions" opens the full document in-app — covering who owns the photos you upload (you keep copyright) and how the Ichthyological Society of Singapore may use them. - Skipping the tour now takes you to this step rather than past it. - Only shows on a fresh install — updating from build 12? Delete and reinstall to see it. FIXED: TUTORIAL HIGHLIGHTS IN THE WRONG PLACE - The spotlight ring was measured while the screen was still animating, then frozen there. - On the Marine Species Wiki step it sat completely off-screen instead of on the compare button. - On the Tides step it sat left of the tide chart. - Both now wait for the screen to settle before drawing. SPECIES WIKI: LOCAL DESCRIPTION - Species pages now show a Local Description between IUCN status and Threat to Humans. - Short Singapore-specific notes on where a fish turns up and how common it is. - 160 species have one so far; pages without a note simply omit the field. SPECIES DATA REFRESH - The full 1,076-species dataset has been refreshed. - FishBase reference markers like "(Ref. 5259, 44894)" are stripped from the text. - Spacing and punctuation artefacts that left behind are cleaned up across ~3,800 fields. - No species or content was lost. WIKI CHECKLIST - The Fish Checklist toggle now reads All Species / By Category (order swapped). SGFISHCV TUTORIAL - Every step now carries a usage note: the identification model is provided free of charge for academic and educational purposes only, not for commercial use.
