Meridian: Camping & 4WD Maps

Descrizione

Record your campsites. Log your tracks. Download maps before you leave. Meridian saves everything on your device first and keeps working where your phone signal doesn't. It's built for people who camp off the beaten track in Australia, and it keeps you in control of your own location data. CAMPSITES Add campsites anywhere on the map with photos, access difficulty, facilities, capacity and notes. They stay private unless you choose to share them. TRACKS Record 4WD and travel tracks with distance, time, speed and elevation, even with your screen locked. Add photos and mark hazards along the way. TRACK GRADING Tap a track on the map to rate its difficulty and the minimum vehicle it needs. See how others have graded it, its current access status, and when it was last rated. MAPS AND LAYERS Base, Lite, Satellite and Topo styles with 3D terrain. Overlay protected areas, marine parks, state forests and fuel stations, and filter protected area categories to see what you need. MOBILE COVERAGE See estimated Telstra, Optus and Vodafone coverage before you leave, so you know where signal is likely to drop out. SHARING ON YOUR TERMS Follow other people and see what they choose to share. Set each campsite and track to Private, Followers Only or Public. Nothing is shared unless you decide to share it. FREE - Up to 10 campsites - Track recording and grading - Base, Lite, Satellite and national Topo maps - Protected areas, state forests, mobile coverage and fuel stations - Nearby map areas cached automatically for offline use MERIDIAN PLUS - Detailed topo maps for NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and New Zealand - Download full map regions in any style - Live rain radar and cloud cover - 7-day forecasts for campsites and tracks - Bushfire boundaries, hunting areas and water crossings - Unlimited campsites Meridian is a practical tool for people who travel beyond reliable reception. It doesn't replace local regulations or on-ground judgement. Always check local rules and conditions before you go. Victoria Topographic Maps The Victoria 25K topographic series joins NSW, Queensland, and Tasmania in the Topo picker, with offline downloads for the whole state. Sharper Queensland Topo Maps The Queensland 25K maps have been rebuilt at higher quality, with clearer contours and labels at every zoom level. Topo picks your state Switching to Topo now opens the series that covers where you are looking, and falls back to the Australia topo everywhere else. Your own choice from the region chips is always kept. Live cloud cover A new live layer shows current cloud cover anywhere in the world, alongside the rain radar. Available with Meridian+. Search, filter, and sort Explore, Campsites, and Tracks share a new browser. Search by name or place, filter by distance, facilities, terrain, and track length, and sort by whatever matters to you. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.
