A Wood’s Lamp is an Ultra-Violet (UV) light used to detect fluorescence in the skin or hair . Studies (https://www.jaad.org/article/S0190-9622(19)30636-X/fulltext) have shown that a smartphone with a bright blue screen can be used as an alternative to the traditional Wood’s Lamp Device. Wood’s Lamp Lite allows you to instantly turn your phone into a bright blue screen. Simply hold your phone screen 6" above the area of skin of interest while in a dark room.
