QuickFits

Descrizione

Fast FITS image preview for astrophotographers. FITS images are just RAW images with fancy headers. This app provides an easy way to view your FITS images just like other RAW image files. It includes system extensions so that you can preview a FITS file in Finder with a tap on the space bar. Main features: - Image debayer and auto stretch - Fast FITS file viewer with export to tif ability - Quicklook support (press space key in Finder) - Finder thumbnail generation - FITS header preview

Temporary Fix for UTI Interference Caused by Third-Party Software An irresponsible company re-declared the .fit and .fits file extensions in their software update, overriding the widely accepted gov.nasa.gsfc.fits definition. This caused some astronomy software, including QuickFITS, to fail in recognizing FITS files correctly.
