Description

TowerDub is an all-in-one groovebox for building reggae riddims and mixing dub, live. Program kick, snare, hats and perc as four independent drum voices, each with its own pattern, velocity and p-locks. Layer in Bass, Chords, Lead and Pads — warm, analog-style synths built for roots and dub, playable on a scale keyboard and recordable live with real quantized overdub. Record a vocal chop or a field sample straight into the built-in Sampler. Mix it down through a proper dub desk: send delay and reverb per instrument, sweep a King Tubby–style resonant filter across any bus, throw in siren stabs, and pass your mic straight through the board. Cut instruments in and out live, capture the whole pass with one-tap dub recording, and keep multiple mix versions of the same riddim. No subscriptions — just a warm, hand-tuned instrument built for the sound of the desk.

Nouveautés

Version 1.1 · 03/10/2026

What's new in 1.1 • Guided tutorial — new to TowerDub? A short interactive walkthrough now opens on first launch: build a riddim with drums, chords, bass and a melody, record a sample, add delay and reverb, then dub it live, record the take and export it. Skip it anytime, or replay it from the project menu. • Warmer, tighter bass — the Filter knob now works across its whole range, notes open up gently on the attack, and sequenced notes no longer produce a kick-like thump at longer Decay settings. • More room on iPhone — the on-screen keyboard is a little shorter, so more of the step grid stays in view. • Small fixes and polish.
