RangeTrace

Description

RangeTrace keeps the Dexcom Share reading you follow visible in the macOS menu bar, so the number you check all day is already where you look. Open the popover for the current value, direction, signed delta, range position, recent trend, and a 24-hour summary with time in range, low and high percentages, average glucose, and estimated GMI. Optional native Mac alerts can notify you about urgent low, low, high, urgent high, signal loss, fast rise or fall, and a predicted urgent low. Quiet hours, snooze, sound, and repeat controls help alerts fit real life. RangeTrace also provides a Current Glucose action in Shortcuts and Spotlight, and lets you choose which fields and colors appear in the menu bar. Compatible with Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7, and Dexcom G7 15 Day when Dexcom Share is enabled. Share availability and supported systems may vary by country. RangeTrace reads follower data from Dexcom Share and does not connect directly to a sensor. Privacy by design: - Dexcom credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain. - Glucose readings and preferences stay on your Mac. - No RangeTrace account, analytics, advertising, or tracking. - One-time purchase with no subscription. RangeTrace is an informational companion, not a medical device. Do not use it to make treatment decisions. Always confirm readings in your primary Dexcom app or with a blood glucose meter before acting. RangeTrace is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dexcom, Inc. Dexcom and related marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of Dexcom, Inc. in the United States and/or other countries.

When macOS has notifications or Launch at login turned off for RangeTrace, Settings now shows what is missing, with steps for your version of macOS and a button that takes you straight to the right place. The message goes away by itself once it is fixed. New Report a Bug and Contact Support buttons in Settings > About. The menu bar icon and every switch in Settings now work with VoiceOver, Voice Control and Switch Control. The dropdown now closes when you open Settings from it, and pressing Escape closes it. On macOS 14 and 15, the Settings sidebar now shows every page, and the dropdown opens centred under the icon every time. Settings now fits on smaller screens, and text that used to be cut off now shows in full. If the App Store needs a moment to confirm your purchase, RangeTrace now waits for it and shows a small window while it checks.
