Description

GeoPT displays weather information for Portugal using data from IPMA (Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera), the UK Met Office, and EUMETSAT. Features: — Forecast for today, tomorrow, and the day after, with a primary card for your nearest city and tappable details for every district capital. Each city shows maximum and minimum temperature, precipitation probability, wind direction, and wind strength. Covers mainland Portugal, Madeira, and the Azores. — Weather warnings for every Portuguese district, with severity colours on the map. Optional notifications alert you when IPMA issues a warning for the district you're currently in — configurable by severity (Yellow, Orange, or Red), working even when the app is closed. — Radar imagery for the last 24 hours, with timeline scrubbing and play/pause. — Satellite imagery (visible and infrared) covering a rolling 24-hour window. Pinch to zoom. — Surface analysis from the UK Met Office, animated through six forecast lead times: now, +12h, +24h, +36h, +48h, +72h. Pinch to zoom into pressure systems and fronts. — Home-screen widgets showing today's forecast for Lisboa and the latest satellite image. GeoPT only uses your location to identify which district you're in for warning notifications. No tracking, no analytics, no ads.

What's New in 7.7 Two focused fixes on top of 7.6: - Warning notifications no longer repeat themselves. If IPMA briefly drops a warning from its feed and it reappears, the app now correctly remembers you were already alerted. - Aligned the Forecast page. The temperature chart bars, the wind arrows, and the day cards below now stack in three clean vertical columns, so today lines up with today, tomorrow with tomorrow.
