Weatherling

Descripción

Stay in. Let it rain. Weatherling puts weather on your actual desktop. Rain falls from the top of your screen, splashes on the top edges of your open windows, pools there, and runs down the sides in thin rivers. Turn the intensity up and the pooled water spills over into small waterfalls. It is not a wallpaper and it is not a screensaver. The rain knows where your windows are and falls behind and in front of them at the right depths, so it looks like the weather is actually in the room with your work. FEATURES - Depth-aware rain that falls among your real, overlapping windows - Splashes, pooling, and rivulets down window sides - Heavy-rain overflow that spills into waterfalls - One click in the menu bar to start or stop - Per-display controls for multi-monitor setups - Adjustable intensity, from barely-there drizzle to a downpour - Tuned to stay subtle enough to read and work through PRIVATE AND QUIET BY DESIGN Weatherling runs in the App Sandbox and asks for nothing. No Screen Recording, no Accessibility access, no Input Monitoring, no location, no network, no account, and no analytics. It never reads your screen or your window titles. The overlay ignores every click and keystroke, so it cannot get in your way, and it is off until you turn it on. Terms of Use: https://www.weatherling.app/terms

Rain you can hear. Turn on the new rain sound from the menu, right under the Raining toggle, and set how loud it falls. Also in this update: - The storm now falls at one strength across your whole display. - Drops land in front of the window they hit, and the side film meets the bottom corner cleanly. - The rain fades out while the screenshot tool is up, so it stays out of your window picks. - Icons in the share menu. Enjoy the weather. -Matt
