The Holy Quran is a calm, beautifully crafted reader built around the 13-line IndoPak mushaf. It presents the complete Qur'an in the authentic Taj Company layout familiar across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa and beyond, with the same words falling on the same lines of the same pages as the printed copy you already know, so anything you have committed to memory stays exactly where you left it. Read it as a crisp digital mushaf or as the scanned printed pages. Listen to the recitation with each word lit as it is recited. Turn to translation and tafsīr to sit with a verse longer. There are no adverts and no accounts, and the whole text travels with you offline. Alhamdulillah, version 3.0.4 brings your reading settings onto the page, and puts right a long list of details. Reading settings, where you read. The button at the top right of the mushaf is now a gear. It opens a small menu over the page with the theme (System, Light or Dark), Mushaf or Reflow, text size in Reflow, and one page or two on an iPhone turned on its side, so you see each change as you make it. In Reflow, text size is now a slider. The words grow or shrink as you drag, to any size from Small to Extra Large, rather than four fixed steps, and Text Size in Settings has the same slider. The mushaf keeps its printed proportions at a single size. Also in this release: Start a recitation from Home and open the mushaf later, and it opens at the verse being recited, even with Auto-Scroll with Audio turned off. The tafsīr keeps every honorific, every pause mark inside a quoted verse and a paragraph that had gone missing, and the opening verses of 23 surahs in Maarif-ul-Qur'an no longer show the closing passage of the surah before. Arabic inside the tafsīr reads right to left, and its text can be selected and copied. Where Maarif-ul-Qur'an has no translation for a verse, Saheeh International's is shown in its place, and says so. Search in Learn shows how many results each kind has, finds words from their first letters, and finds a surah by its name typed in Arabic or as one word. The search box in the Library understands "Al-Baqarah 255", "page 611" and "juz 5", and your bookmarks can now be searched. Listen on Home opens the full player, pressing Play at the end of a surah starts the next one, and the next and previous verse buttons cross into the neighbouring surah. On iPhone and iPad, the Lock Screen shows the app's artwork while a recitation plays, and a phone call leaves the player showing Play rather than Pause. Changing the Mushaf Style takes effect straight away, and the printed mushaf shows its pages whichever layout is chosen. Restore Purchases tells you what happened, and a lifetime purchase no longer offers Manage Subscription. Numbers and dates read the same whatever digits or calendar your device is set to.
