The Podcast App

Descripción

The Podcast App is a real podcast player for audio and video. One player. Same controls. Same place you left off. LISTEN YOUR WAY • Play audio or video in the same player. Same controls. Same place you left off. • Download episodes for offline listening. • Speed, chapters, sleep timer, and CarPlay stay out of the way until you need them. DISCOVER AND STAY ORGANIZED • Search for podcasts, add a show by RSS URL, and follow your favorites. • Get recommendations based on the shows you follow and listen to. • See new episodes in one feed and hide completed episodes when you’re done. • Import or export your subscriptions with OPML. • Choose which shows can notify you about new episodes. GO DEEPER WHEN YOU WANT Extra tools help you understand, revisit, and remember more from supported episodes. The core podcast player works without them. • Ask questions and jump directly to cited moments. • Explore transcripts, summaries, key moments, and generated chapters when available. • Save useful ideas and use Podcast Brain to connect insights across episodes. • All features are free with usage caps; Premium lifts those caps. An account, transcript availability, and usage limits may apply. NO SURPRISES • Start listening without an account. Sign in for sync and extra tools. • No app-inserted banner or audio ads in the core player. • Podcast publishers and video platforms may include their own advertising. • Offline downloads and the core listening experience are available. The Podcast App now works on Apple Watch. • Listen from your wrist: stream over Wi-Fi or cellular, or download episodes to your watch. • Your shows, Up Next and listening position sync between iPhone and Apple Watch. • A complication keeps the episode you're on one tap from the watch face. Skip ads on supported shows. • Skip forward during a known ad break and one tap jumps to where the show resumes. Never automatic. Turn it off in Settings if you prefer. • Known ad breaks are marked on the timeline. • Cleaner chapters: timestamp lists in show notes no longer show up as chapters. • Playback and stability fixes.
