Some sounds are too good to behave. City Rat began with the satisfying crunch of an overloaded audio-interface input. We measured that hard-clipping character and built a compact distortion around it. Select CLEAN for transparent boost or DIRTY for the original measured overdrive. Drag the steel knob to add gain. Click or tap it to bypass. A dark city without the rat appears when bypassed.
