The Montreal Jewish News

Description

The Montreal Jewish News app brings Montreal’s Jewish community directly to your phone. Read the latest local, Canadian, Israeli and international Jewish news, save articles for later, listen to stories using the built-in reader, translate content into French and receive push notifications when new stories are published. The app also includes Montreal weather, weekly Shabbos candle-lighting times, funeral notices from Paperman & Sons, separate MK and KSR kosher dining directories, and a searchable directory of Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Reconstructionist synagogues throughout the Montreal area. Readers can send news tips directly to the Montreal Jewish News newsroom, share articles with friends and access the full Montreal Jewish News website. Founded in 2009, the Montreal Jewish News provides independent news, opinion and community coverage for Montreal’s Jewish community.

This update introduces a refreshed design and updated app icon, improved article reading and video navigation, Havdalah times alongside Shabbos times, expanded kosher and synagogue directories, easier contact options, and reliability fixes throughout the app.
