A tuner, a chord library and a metronome for the guitalele — and for the guitar. TUNER Hears the string you play and shows how far it is from the note, to the cent. Tap the note in the middle to follow whatever you play, or to hold one string and tune it alone. A reference tone for every string, for tuning by ear. CHORDS Shapes are computed from your tuning rather than looked up in a table, so they are right whatever the instrument is tuned to. Open shapes, barre shapes, and every variation of a chord. Choose which kinds to show: majors, minors, sevenths, sus, sixths, diminished, augmented. METRONOME Tempo by slider, by typing the number, or by tapping it out. 4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 5/4, 6/8. Save a tempo and a meter as a preset, kept with the instrument it belongs to. YOUR INSTRUMENTS Keep a guitalele and a guitar side by side, each with its own tuning, its own chords and its own presets. Write a tuning of your own if the presets do not cover it. Widgets open any of the three screens from the home screen, and a Control Centre button opens the tuner. Sound never leaves your phone: the microphone is used only to find the pitch, and no recording is kept.
