Turn your iPhone, iPad, or Mac into a companion for your own automation tools. Harness Companion receives small, typed processing jobs from a broker you control and returns their results. Start a sharing session when you want to contribute your device, follow progress in Activity, and stop whenever you choose. BUILT-IN PROCESSING • Analyze text: count Unicode characters, words, and lines, with a SHA-256 digest. • Split text into lossless Unicode chunks. • Recognize text in PNG and JPEG images using Apple Vision. TRY IT WITHOUT SETUP Run the local text analysis or chunking demo before connecting to a broker. No account or broker is needed for the demo. CONNECT YOUR TOOLS Use the open HTTPS protocol, command-line client, or stdio MCP adapter with tools that support those interfaces. Harness Companion for Mac can host the HTTPS broker inside the app and create a QR pairing code for your devices. The Mac can host the broker and process jobs at the same time. An optional Python standard-library broker and external CLI/MCP adapter remain available on the support website. YOU CONTROL THE SESSION Pair by pasting a connection code or scanning its QR code. Connections use HTTPS with a pinned broker certificate. Credentials are stored in Keychain. Review local activity, delete it, or forget a connection in the app. Revoke access in your broker when needed. On iPhone and iPad, keep the app in the foreground while sharing. Sharing stops when the app goes into the background. This version does not run downloaded scripts, shell commands, or a general coding agent. Free to use. No in-app purchases, advertising, or app-owned cloud account.
