Cyclop turns the notch on your Mac into a panel you glance at between tasks — and it asks for almost nothing to do it. Hover the notch. The panel opens. Move away, it closes. MEDIA See what Apple Music or Spotify is playing, with artwork and a scrubber. Play, pause, skip, seek — without leaving what you are doing. CLIPBOARD Your recent copies, kept in memory and never written to disk. Anything a password manager marks as concealed never enters the history at all. SHELF Drag files in, drag them out later. A staging area that survives the trip between two Finder windows. NOTES AND SNIPPETS Somewhere to put a thought without opening an app for it. CALENDAR Your next meetings, and a button that joins the call. TELEPROMPTER A script that scrolls at your pace, in type large enough to read from across the room. TRANSLATE Built on the system translation engine, on your machine. BUILT TO ASK FOR NOTHING No account. No telemetry. No analytics. Cyclop opens no ports and listens to no network. The only outgoing connection it ever makes is fetching album artwork from the address Spotify itself provides, over https. Calendar access is requested once, only when you open the Calendar tab. Never open it, and Cyclop runs with no permissions at all. Clipboard history lives in memory. Screenshots you copy are saved to a folder in Pictures that belongs to you and is never cleaned automatically. Open source under the MIT license. Requires macOS 15 or later. Works on Macs with and without a notch — where there is no notch, the panel appears at the top of the screen.
