Truffle repairs the metadata of the music library you built — your Apple Music/iTunes library, your folders on disk, or your rekordbox, Serato or Traktor collection. Eight sources, one answer. Truffle asks Apple/iTunes Search, MusicBrainz, Cover Art Archive, Deezer, Beatport, a web lookup, Apple's audio recognition and its own audio analysis — then compares their evidence, discards what contradicts, and assembles a suggestion field by field. Nothing is written until you confirm it. WHAT IT FIXES • Recognises tracks that have no title and no artist — by their sound • Finds the right cover in full resolution • Repairs broken umlauts, SHOUTING titles, "(ORIGNAL MIX!!)" • Measures tempo and key on your Mac, without the internet • Finds duplicates and shows side by side which copy stays and which goes — the file on your Mac first; nothing is deleted without asking • Aligns albums: fills in missing album artists and years, unifies spellings, marks compilations and copies missing covers — every change listed before it is written • Edits one field across many tracks at once: set a value, find and replace (regular expressions included) or transform, for example remove bracketed text; a preview shows every line before anything is written • Leaves cues, beatgrids and your sets untouched; tempo and key are written only on your explicit click FIVE LIBRARIES • Apple Music / iTunes: reads your library and writes live back to Music.app, field by field — and finds duplicate playlists and tidies them up on your click • Local folders: writes straight into the files (17 file extensions, from mp3 via flac to aiff); your folder tree stays as it is • rekordbox: reads your exported collection including the playlist tree; repairs go into the audio files, never into rekordbox's database • Serato: reads database V2 and the crates from the _Serato_ folder; crates become playlists • Traktor: reads collection.nml — titles, tempo, key, ratings, playlists Truffle never writes into a DJ program's database; cues, beat grids and crates stay untouched. THE SAFETY NET Every change is logged and shown in History, the original is backed up before Truffle writes, and every change can be restored — one by one or as a whole session. - Apple Music: tracks that iCloud has not matched yet can now be edited. This also applies to libraries without iCloud Music Library, that is without Apple Music or iTunes Match. - SoundCloud downloads: the uploader's name no longer ends up in the title. Genre and year come from the SoundCloud page; album, album artist and track number come from Bandcamp when the upload links there. - Portuguese is now consistently European Portuguese, and the cloud status hints are translated into every language.
