Description
Prism turns whatever you're listening to into a living, breathing visual experience. Point Prism at any audio playing on your Mac (Spotify, Apple Music, a browser tab, anything) and it renders classic Milkdrop-style visuals in real time. Every color, ripple, and kaleidoscoping shape reacts to your music as it happens. ORIGINAL COMMUNITY PRESETS Prism runs genuine .milk preset files, the same format that powered two decades of Winamp and Milkdrop visuals. Drop in your own preset packs, browse a curated built-in library, or just drag and drop any .milk file onto the visualizer. ALBUM ART THAT MOVES WITH THE MUSIC When you're playing something in Spotify or Apple Music, Prism layers your album art on top of the visualizer with its own beat-synced parallax and transitions that stay in sync with each preset change. Want to focus on the preset? That's okay! Simply disable album arts with ⌘A. SMART PRESET MATCHING Prism analyzes a song's energy, mood, and tempo and automatically choose a preset that actually fits the vibe, instead of just cycling at random. MADE FOR THE MILKDROP FAITHFUL Point Prism at a folder of presets and it remembers where you left off, keeps a session history so you can step back through what you've seen, and reads NestDrop favorites lists if your preset pack has them. MORE THAN ONE WAY TO WATCH Prism.app runs full screen or in a window on your Mac. Prefer it inside Music's own Visualizer menu? There's a plug-in for that. Want it running when your Mac is idle? Prism includes a matching screen saver too. Built natively for Apple Silicon with Metal, Prism achieves frame rates upwards of 800+. It is fast, fluid, and made for people who want to add another dimension to their music.
