Description

GeoPackage is the OGC standard for portable GIS data: QGIS projects, drone surveys, government open data. macOS shows .gpkg as a blank icon. GeoPackage Viewer fixes that: - Real data-grid thumbnails and Quick Look in Finder, plus a layer-aware browser. - Layers listed with geometry type and EPSG code; tiles and attributes too - Geometry columns shown as POINT (x, y), LINESTRING (n points), POLYGON summaries - Double-click a geometry: inspector with a shape sketch, the coordinate list, and one-click Copy as WKT (paste into QGIS, PostGIS, shapely) - Sort, filter, show/hide columns; schema inspector - Read-only on machine - Native, on-device, universal binary GeoPackage Pro (one-time purchase) adds: - Map view: feature layers plotted on an interactive map with per-layer toggles (EPSG:4326 and Web Mercator; other projections get a true-to-shape coordinate plot) - Layers diagram: tables, keys, and links, drawn for you - CSV export (one table or all: geometry exported as WKT) and SQL schema export
