Open engineering models where the work happens. CadRoam is a private 3D CAD viewer for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Import DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, 3MF, PLY, USDZ and glTF files, orbit and inspect the model, isolate parts and review dimensions and surface area with units, plus volume for closed meshes. Drawings show text, dimensions, hatches, layer colours and paper-space layouts. Compatible iPhone and iPad devices can place supported geometry in AR, while Pro can export a compact inspection PDF with a picture of the current view, then save, share or print it. MEASURE AND PLOT - Measure DWG/DXF drawings free with snaps to endpoints, midpoints, centres and intersections. - Measure distance with ΔX/ΔY and angle, polyline length, room area and radius/diameter; save measurements in the inspection report. - Plot a vector PDF at 1:N scale on A4–A0 or Letter–ANSI E, with line weights, colours and real text; requires CadRoam Pro. Model geometry is processed locally without an account, advertising, tracking or a developer-operated conversion service. Open three unique CAD files free, then unlock unlimited viewing, AR, reports and PDF plots with an optional monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. In DWG and DXF, text uses a system font and dashed linetypes are drawn solid; ACIS 3D solids, images, tables and external references are not shown. Textures in USDZ, glTF and 3MF files are not shown.
