Loopaper: Live Wallpaper

Description

Your desktop, alive. Loopaper turns your videos into looping live wallpapers on your Mac. Use MP4 or MOV videos, Live Photos and still images, and choose a different wallpaper for each display. POWER-AWARE PLAYBACK Hardware-accelerated video playback and automatic pausing when the desktop is sufficiently covered help reduce unnecessary work. Battery power and Low Power Mode adjust the coverage threshold and may limit frame rate; they do not automatically pause a visible wallpaper. Energy use depends on your media, displays and Mac. MAKE IT YOURS • Import your own media without a locked-in library. • Set wallpapers independently on each display. • Rotate wallpapers with playlists and schedules. • Optionally match the lock screen with a still from the main display's wallpaper. • Download the separate companion screen saver and enable syncing to follow the main display's wallpaper, or choose a custom video in its Options. • Native menu-bar app for Apple Silicon and Intel. PRIVACY No Loopaper account, third-party analytics or tracking. Optional iCloud sync uses your private CloudKit database; purchases are handled by Apple. FREE TO TRY Download and use Loopaper for free. The one-time Loopaper Pro purchase removes the watermark from imported wallpapers. No subscription. Historical wallpaper stills remain on disk after videos are removed, so macOS can keep displaying them on other Spaces. Improved wallpaper-still preservation and retry handling to reduce stale or missing desktop images. Improved iCloud handling on slow connections and cancellation of timed-out requests. Historical wallpaper stills are now retained when videos are removed, so other Spaces can keep displaying them. These images continue to use disk space. If you use the companion screen saver, download the updated version from https://loopaper.syrianapps.co.uk/screen-saver. For help: https://loopaper.syrianapps.co.uk/support.
