App Volume Mixer

Description

Ever wished you could turn down one app without touching everything else? macOS only gives you a single master volume - so a loud video, a game, or a notification shares the same slider as your music. App Volume Mixer brings a Windows-style volume mixer to your Mac. It lists every app that's currently playing sound and gives each one its own volume slider and mute button, right from your menu bar. FEATURES - Independent volume for every running app - Per-app mute - Lightweight menu bar app - no Dock clutter - 100% on-device. No account, no network, nothing leaves your Mac. HOW IT WORKS SoundSetting taps an app's audio output, then plays it back at the level you choose. The first time you lower an app's volume, macOS asks for System Audio Recording permission - this is required to read the audio so it can be re-mixed at a lower level. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted; it is processed live in memory only.
