Description

Sometimes you need to SSH into a server. This app helps you do exactly that. Remote servers, Bonjour servers — we welcome them all. We'll optionally remember the servers you frequently access from a given spot, too; so if you're always connecting to one network from the coffeeshop and another from home, we've got you covered. With built-in support for the keyboard keys that iOS forgot (Esc, Tab, and Control-combos), a slew of themes, and a ton of functionality included for free. Need Pro features like 1Password keys, SFTP support throughout iOS, and Snippets? Take a look at a Pro subscription. EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

What’s New

Version 1.4 · 9/13/2026

This one's for everyone who ever opened the file browser, needed something in /var/log or /etc, and hit an invisible wall. The shell always let you cd anywhere — now the file browser keeps up: • Go up. When you're at the top of the browser, there's a new button that takes you up a level — keep tapping and you'll land at /. Anything your login can read, you can browse. • Go anywhere. Pick "Go to Folder…" from the menu and type a path. /var/log, ~/projects, even a bare logs relative to where you signed in — LexShell checks it's a real folder and jumps straight there. • Know where you are. Once you wander off, the title shows the folder you're actually in instead of the server's name. And as before, if you always want a connection to start somewhere specific, set its directory in the connection editor — that's now just where browsing starts, not a fence. This update has other improvements to syncing, SFTP, and SSH keys. The syncing improvements include syncing your saved snippets across devices. Phew!
