CutToSpeech is an AI-powered speech detection tool for Final Cut Pro that helps speed up the rough-cut process. The app analyzes clips in the Primary Storyline and identifies speech and non-speech sections. Based on the detected speech boundaries, CutToSpeech can: - Add cuts at speech boundaries — keep your timeline intact - Disable non-speech segments — silence stays in place, just turned off - Remove non-speech segments — delete silence from the timeline entirely CutToSpeech works with both original media and proxy files, so you can run it on any machine — even without the original footage. CutToSpeech is especially useful for interviews, podcasts, talking-head videos, documentaries, and other speech-driven content where manually removing pauses and non-speaking sections can take hours. Important: CutToSpeech is designed for initial timeline preparation and currently processes clips in the Primary Storyline only. Results are intended as a starting point — always review before final delivery.
