Description
Kubezilla Desktop is a native Kubernetes cluster management application built for modern DevOps operations. It helps teams browse and manage cluster resources in real time, work across multiple clusters, open pod and node shells, stream logs, forward ports, inspect relationships between resources, and perform common operational tasks without living in the terminal all day. The app also includes advanced workflows for Helm and Argo CD, allowing you to inspect releases, compare revisions, roll back changes, sync applications, and manage GitOps-driven environments from the same interface. For storage-heavy workflows, Kubezilla Desktop adds PVC browsing, uploads, downloads, disk usage analysis, and local mounting of persistent volumes and container filesystems. With its native Rust-based desktop experience, Kubezilla Desktop is designed to reduce context switching and give operators a faster, more visual way to manage Kubernetes infrastructure.
What’s New
Version 0.7.0 · 10/2/2026Argo CD — Applications open as a full page with the resource tree, status, and Sync. Changes to an application are saved to git (or opened as a pull request) instead of being patched live. Projects, ApplicationSets, clusters and repositories get forms too. Access manager (Pro) — see who you are, what you may do in each namespace, and who else has access. Grant or revoke a role without writing YAML. Permission-aware — actions your account cannot take are shown disabled with the reason, and lists you cannot read show a clear "no access" page. Overview board — the cluster overview is a board of widgets you arrange per cluster: capacity, storage, certificate expiry, Helm releases, pinned resources. Drag and drop between windows — tear a shell, log or detail off into its own window and dock it back; drop to split a pane, merge two logs, or compare two resources. Every target previews the result. New list views — card view for every kind, a detail drawer that opens with one click, and one list across several namespaces, kinds or clusters. Related tab — a graph of everything attached to a workload: ConfigMaps, Secrets, volumes, Services, pods. Pod detail has Logs and Shell tabs, and each can be popped out into its own window. Console split panes, and "restart related workloads" from any resource. File browser split view (Pro) — two panels side by side: copy and move files between pods, even across clusters, with the keyboard or the mouse. Cluster windows — a second cluster's window now has the same sidebar, detail drawer, Console and overview board as the main window. AI agent suggestions are clickable — a kubectl or helm command an agent suggests opens in a terminal, typed in and ready for you to run. Git built in — the git features no longer need git installed.
