Description

A color grading vectorscope for any region of your screen. Drag a rectangle around the skin area to inspect; The vectorscope visualizes the color relative to the universal skin tone line. Properly exposed skin tones — regardless of ethnicity — should fall on that line. This app does not provide any tools to adjust color. It simply visualizes the color with a line for skin tones to give photo editors a vector scope popular with color grading specialists in the cinema industry. You will need to use our apps white balance, and other color adjustments to optimize the skin region to the skin line. This app requires special permission for the app to see your desktop in order to function. This is required for the app to be able to do its job. This app does not collect any user information nor communicates with the internet. There are no ads or in app purchases. First launch will prompt for Screen Recording. You can grant it manually: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording → Desktop Vectorscope. You will need to close and restart the app. See the screen shots in the app store. About the Author: Dr. Clement Shimizu is a color scientist, computer scientist, and hobby fashion photographer. He built this tool for his own use because his favorite image editing software didn't have it. And now he is bringing it to the Mac app store.
