Description
Denrim: Forge is a focused 3D modeler for creating game-ready props, stylized figurines, logos, animated objects, and printable assets. Start with simple primitives or imported SVG artwork, shape your model directly in the viewport, create UV layouts, paint textures, animate objects, and export to the workflow you need. Forge keeps modeling approachable without sacrificing the tools needed to turn an idea into a finished asset. • Build with boxes, cylinders, spheres, capsules, and tori, or turn SVG paths into solid 3D geometry. • Shape models with Transform, Push/Pull, Extrude, Inset, Bevel, Knife, Lathe, Offset, Circlify, Align to Face, and more. • Work precisely with project units, grid snapping, numeric controls, multiple transform orientations, symmetry, and flexible selection tools. • Organize objects into groups and parent-child hierarchies for characters, articulated props, and complex scenes. • Animate position, rotation, and scale in a dedicated timeline with clips, Auto Key, editable keyframes, interpolation controls, and synchronized multi-item playback. • Extend keyed motion with Constant, Repeat, Oscillate, and Offset Repeat channel behavior. • Merge other Forge projects into your scene while preserving objects, hierarchies, layers, materials, UV maps, paint, and animation. • Create and pack UV maps, mark seams, select UV islands, and paint directly in texture space. • Apply PBR materials and face-level paint directly in the viewport. • Preview with Sub-D, control smooth shading, repair meshes, and inspect topology. • Render with built-in or custom HDR environment lighting, reflections, tone mapping, and presentation controls. • Export textured OBJ bundles, vertex-color OBJ, animated GLB files, USDZ, STL, and PNG renderings. • Create assets for game engines, renderers, animation, and 3D-printing workflows. • Learn as you work with integrated contextual help for tools, modes, and controls. Native for macOS and iPadOS, with iCloud sync.
What’s New
Version 1.5 · 9/8/2026Forge 1.5 introduces object animation, deeper scene organization, and a broad collection of modeling and viewport refinements. • Animate object position, rotation, and scale in a dedicated timeline with clips, frame scrubbing, Auto Key, editable keyframes, and stepped, linear, or eased interpolation. • Build animated parent-child hierarchies for segmented characters, articulated props, and mechanical assemblies—without requiring skeletal animation or skinning. • Preview multiple animated items together while preserving each item’s clip timing and playback behavior. • Extend animation beyond its keyed range using Constant, Repeat, Oscillate, and Offset Repeat channel behavior. • Merge another Forge project into the current scene, including its objects, hierarchy, layers, materials, UV maps, paint, and animation clips. • Import custom HDR environment maps for lighting, reflections, and presentation. • Enjoy improved Knife and Inset tools, clearer UV layouts and seams, interactive View Cube faces, optional pivot displays, configurable iPad gestures, and more consistent viewport navigation. • Export object animations to GLB for use in game engines and other compatible 3D tools. This release also includes numerous fixes for parenting, hierarchical transforms, animation editing, UV display, wireframe rendering, mouse and trackpad navigation, iPad layouts, and general stability.
