Description

Universal 3D Previewer adds fast Finder preview and thumbnail support for common 3D model and toolpath files on macOS. Preview supported files directly from Finder with Quick Look before opening a larger CAD, slicer, or modeling app. It is built for speed and convenience when browsing parts, meshes, toolpaths, and SOLIDWORKS documents. Supported formats include STEP/STP, STL, OBJ, PLY, Alembic, 3MF, G-code/GCO, and SOLIDWORKS (.sldprt, .sldasm, .slddrw, .sldlfp). Universal 3D Previewer includes a lightweight standalone viewer and Finder Quick Look extensions for previews and thumbnails. Open the app once after install to enable the extensions, then press Space on a supported file in Finder.
