Description
SNMP Explorer for Mac is a native SNMP MIB browser, walker, monitor and trap receiver for macOS by toz.red. It supports SNMPv1, v2c and v3, is written in pure Swift, runs sandboxed and needs no Homebrew or net-snmp. Free on the Mac App Store, with an optional Pro upgrade. Built for network engineers and system administrators: walk, query and monitor switches, routers, servers, printers, access points and more from a clean, visual interface. KEY FEATURES SNMP Walk & Tree View Walk any device's OID tree and see results as an expandable hierarchy, the same job snmpwalk and snmpbulkwalk do on the command line. Common OIDs are automatically described with human-readable names. Toggle between table and tree views, filter results, and export to CSV with one click. Single OID Queries Run a GET against any OID and see its value and type instantly, in the same pane as your walk results. Live Monitoring Add OIDs to a watch list with configurable poll intervals. Track values over time with inline sparkline charts and live status indicators. Trap & Inform Receiver Receive SNMPv1 and v2c traps, with informs acknowledged automatically. Traps appear under the device they came from and in one feed across all devices, named from your MIBs where possible. Shared Credentials Create reusable credential profiles (community strings or SNMPv3 users) and apply them to multiple devices. Change the password once and every device using that credential picks it up instantly. MIB Management Import your own MIB files for vendor-specific reference. A built-in dictionary of common OIDs means you get human-readable names out of the box. Full SNMPv1, v2c & v3 Support Complete SNMPv3 authentication and privacy: MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, DES, and AES-128. The entire SNMP stack is written in Swift using Apple's Network framework, so there is nothing to install. No Homebrew, no net-snmp. Device Management Save your network devices and switch between them instantly. Find any device with the sidebar search. Import a whole list from CSV. Built for macOS A native macOS app: fast, lightweight, and designed to feel right at home on your Mac. No Electron, no web wrappers, just pure Swift and SwiftUI.
