Vedabase Original

Description

Vedabase Original is a study companion for the Vedic literature tradition. The app provides a clean, distraction-free reader with full-text search, bookmarks, dark mode, and adjustable typography. KEY FEATURES • Download just the volumes you want — manage content packs from inside the app • Works offline — texts are stored locally once downloaded • Full-text search across your downloaded library • Diacritic-insensitive search (find "Krsna" or "Kṛṣṇa") • Bookmarks, copy, share verses • English and Spanish interface • Dark mode, font size and family controls ABOUT THE PROJECT Vedabase Original is an independent project for historical preservation and personal study. It is not affiliated with any organization. Texts are scanned and verified against early printings as part of a non-commercial preservation effort. The project runs on optional donations. You can contribute from the About screen inside the app, or at the companion website vedabase.cc.

Your books now tell you when they've been upgraded. A mark on the Catalog tab and a notice in your Library show which ones have a newer version. Until now you had to open the Catalog to find out. Downloads are verified as they arrive, so a damaged file can't pass for a good one. Corrections checked against the printed editions are available now for all the books.
