PrintTiler makes it simple to print large images and PDF pages across multiple sheets of standard paper. Create posters, plans, infographics, patterns, artwork, and other oversized prints using the printer you already own. Drop in an image or PDF, choose your paper and layout, then preview how the content will be divided. Print directly or export the tiled pages for printing later. Key Features: - Image and PDF Support: Open an image or choose a page from a multi-page PDF. Preserve vector content when printing PDFs or exporting them as PDF. - Flexible Sizing: Keep the original size, fit to the paper width or height, or create a custom page grid. - Live Tiled Preview: Review page boundaries and content placement before printing. - PDF and Image Export: Save your tiled layout as a PDF, or export individual pages as PNG, JPEG, or TIFF images. - Image Print Quality: Check the estimated DPI and choose Original, Standard, High, or a custom resolution for image sources. - Margin Controls: Use automatic margins based on the selected printer’s reported printable area, or set each margin manually. - Overlap and Crop Marks: Add repeated content along neighboring page edges and crop marks to help with trimming and assembly. - Layout Tools: Align, rotate, and flip your content to match the intended result. - Paper Options: Choose from common paper formats or enter your own dimensions. - Output Summary: Review the page count, paper size, margins, and overlap before printing or exporting. - Native macOS Experience: A focused interface with the familiar macOS print dialog. - Added Safety Margin: when Auto Margin is selected, PrintTiler now reserves an extra 1 mm on every edge of the printer's printable area by default. This helps prevent edge clipping caused by paper-feed and registration variation, and can be turned off when the full printable area is needed. - Fixed slight edge clipping or partially transparent edge pixels that could occur when exporting or printing A4 and other paper sizes at certain DPI settings. - Unified page-edge calculations across previews, PNG, JPEG, TIFF and PDF exports, and raster printing for more consistent output. - Improved Auto Margin handling across different printer configurations. - Includes additional stability and compatibility improvements.
