Cyberduck ist ein FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3, OpenStack Swift, Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure & OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox Browser zum Laden von Dateien auf einen Web Server und Verbinden zu einer Cloud Storage Lösung von OpenStack Swift, Windows Azure oder Amazon S3 mit der selben benutzerfreundlichen Oberfläche mit Lesezeichen für den schnellen Verbindungsaufbau. Der Browser erlaubt den Download, Upload und das Verschieben oder Kopieren von Dateien mit Drag und Drop mit einer hierarchischen Listenansicht um auch grosse Ordnerstrukturen effizient zu handhaben. Dateitransfers sind einfach möglich und eine Synchronisationsfunktion erlaubt den Abgleich von lokalen und Dateien auf dem Server. Zum Editieren von Dateien, die Integration mit externen Applikationen erlaubt das schnelle Ändern von Inhalten direkt auf dem Server. Sowohl Amazon CloudFront als auch Akamai CDNs (Content Delivery Network) können einfach konfiguriert werden um Inhalte weltweit an Knotenpunkten zu verteilen. Unterstützt Verbindungen mit FTP (File Transfer Protocol mit TLS Unterstützung), SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer), WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning), Amazon S3, Google Storage, Windows Azure und OpenStack Swift.
