Decent Sampler

Description

Did you ever wish you could use professional quality sample libraries on your mobile device? Now you can! The Decent Samples plugin is a sample player that allows you to use your favorite Decent Samples sample libraries on the go (as well as SF2s, SFZs, and EXS files). Many of the most popular Decent Samples releases are available through the app with more being added every week. Because it's also an AUv3 plugin, you can use it from within GarageBand or with AUM.

This update fixes a freeze on iPad, adds two new tools for instrument makers, and smooths out a few things under the hood. FIXED • Decent Sampler no longer freezes inside AUM and other hosts when you try to load a file. The file picker opens normally and the menus keep working. • Long samples no longer stutter or repeat a fraction of a second of audio when your device is under heavy load. • Instruments built from oscillators now play at the volume their settings ask for. Some may sound a little louder after this update. NEW • Looped samples can now ring out: when you let go of a key, an instrument can leave its loop and play the natural decay recorded after it. • Instruments that play the same pitch on every key, like drums and percussion, can now be tuned. IMPROVED • Validate Preset catches more mistakes that quietly break an instrument, such as a knob pointed at a setting that doesn't exist. • SFZ files import more accurately, including their overall volume settings.
