LDS Priesthood: Ordinances

Description

Perform priesthood ordinances with clarity and confidence. LDS Priesthood: Ordinances puts the wording of every ordinance and blessing in your pocket — ready the moment you're asked to serve. Whether you're preparing for your first baptism or have served for decades, you'll have the exact words, in the right order, without having to memorize them. Every ordinance follows the instructions in the General Handbook, so what you read is what the Church actually asks — nothing added, nothing left out. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Read the sacrament prayers for the bread and water, word for word • Follow step-by-step guidance for baptism and confirmation • Administer to the sick — anointing with oil and sealing the anointing • Confer the priesthood and ordain to an office • Name and bless children, and give blessings of comfort and counsel • Dedicate graves and dedicate homes, and consecrate oil LEARN THE PRIESTHOOD • Understand the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthoods and the keys of each • Explore the offices and duties — deacon, teacher, priest, elder, and high priest • Review the purpose, restoration, and responsibilities of the priesthood BUILT FOR THE MOMENT YOU SERVE • Guided mode walks you through one step at a time and reads each step aloud • Focus mode shows large, distraction-free text and keeps the screen awake • Instant search across every ordinance, prayer, office, and topic • Save your most-used ordinances for one-tap access • Adjustable text size, themes, and app icons KEEP A RECORD OF WHAT YOU FELT • After you serve, write a private impression — what you felt, and for whom • Each entry is pre-filled with the ordinance and date, so it takes only seconds • Tag the feeling in a tap — peaceful, grateful, humbled, close to God • Your journal stays private to you, kept on your device and synced securely • Search and revisit past impressions any time FOR MEMBERS WORLDWIDE Read every ordinance in your own language. Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Khmer, Indonesian, Malay, Tagalog, Cebuano, Samoan, Tongan, Igbo, and Yoruba — with more on the way. LDS Priesthood is designed to help priesthood holders serve with greater knowledge, confidence, and faith. Guided mode, focus mode, read-aloud, all languages, an unlimited journal, custom themes, and an ad-free experience are available with LDS Priesthood Pro.
