Mileage Logbook by Everlance

Beschreibung

Everlance records your work kilometres automatically and keeps your logbook for you. Keep a logbook for 12 continuous weeks and the business-use percentage it produces can support your car claim for up to five years, as long as your driving stays representative. There is no kilometre cap under the logbook method. You claim that percentage of your actual car costs: fuel, servicing, insurance, registration and decline in value. If you drive under about 5,000 work kilometres a year, cents per kilometre is usually simpler. The ATO rate is 91 cents per kilometre for 2026-27, capped at 5,000 kilometres per car, so $4,550 is the most anyone can claim that way. Above the cap, the logbook method generally returns more. Everlance records the trips either method needs. Trusted by over 4 million drivers and self-employed people. ▶ WHAT YOU GET - Automatic kilometre recording that runs in the background - Smart trip classification to separate work driving from private - Trip by trip logs with dates, purpose and odometer readings - Business-use percentage worked out from your own 12 week logbook period - Expense and receipt records kept alongside the logbook - Reports for your return or your tax agent, and records you can hold for the five years the ATO requires ▶ WHY IT MATTERS The logbook is what turns your car costs into a deduction. Drive 3,000 kilometres during your logbook period with 1,800 of them for work and your business-use percentage is 60%, so 60% of your car costs for the year come off your income. A logbook you filled in from memory on a Sunday night is the kind that does not hold up. The drive from home to a regular workplace is private travel, not work travel. Everlance classifies trips so only the ones that qualify end up on your claim. ▶ YOU STAY IN CONTROL Where you drive is your business. Everlance is ad-free, protected with bank-level encryption and your data is never shared or sold. Record automatically in the background, switch to manual or limit recording to your working hours. Automatic recording needs location and motion permissions turned on, and you can turn them off whenever you want. ▶ WHO IT'S FOR If you drive your own car for work, Everlance was built for you. - Delivery and rideshare drivers on Uber, DoorDash, Menulog and Amazon Flex - Real estate agents and field sales reps - Freelancers and contractors working across several clients - Sole traders and small business owners - Tradies driving between jobs ▶ PLANS FOR EVERY BUDGET Start free, no card required. - Basic (free): manual kilometre recording, 30 automatic trips per month and reports - Starter: unlimited automatic kilometre recording, smart trip classification, manual expense and receipt logging, reports - Professional: everything in Starter plus advanced expense records Starter and Professional both include a free 7-day trial, so you can try everything before you commit. Is 5.5.4 the best version of Everlance ever released? Does it meet...no, sorry...does it exceed the expectations that the top rated, award winning mileage tracking app has set for itself? Some say yes, others say "definitely," one member of the team says "it'll blow your socks off"...we're not sure what that means, but we recommend updating for the smoothest mileage & expense tracking experience yet.
