MBox Office opens Gmail exports from Google Takeout, Thunderbird mailboxes, Apple Mail exports, or any large MBOX archive on your Mac. Start browsing while headers are discovered, search the archive, recover attachments, export messages, or put useful mail back in a new account. BUILT FOR LARGE MBOX FILES MBox Office progressively reads mailbox headers instead of loading the complete archive into memory. The first messages appear while discovery continues. If a long scan is interrupted, MBox Office can resume from its last safe position. FIND THE ONE EMAIL Search by sender, recipient, subject, date, attachment, Gmail label, folder, or message text. Choose basic header search for a quick pass or build a content index when you need to search inside messages. RECOVER WHAT MATTERS • Read plain text and sanitized HTML email • Open, save, or bulk-extract attachments • Export selected messages or the whole mailbox as standard EML • Export unique sender and recipient contacts as one vCard (VCF) file • Split a large MBOX by size, year, or mailbox label • Add EML messages to an archive safely • Print messages and open several archives in separate windows PRIVATE ON YOUR MAC Opening, indexing, searching, splitting, and exporting stay on your Mac. No account is required, and there is no subscription. Scripts and unsafe embedded content are removed, JavaScript is disabled, and remote images remain blocked until you choose to load them. Choose or create a destination mailbox, follow progress, and review individual failures. Saved passwords are protected by the macOS Keychain. Some providers require an app-specific password. MBox Office is for old backups, email migration, account recovery, project archives, and anyone who wants to make a large MBOX useful again.
