Beschreibung
Halyard is a terminal for work that outlives the connection. Every session you open is a tmux session on your own server, reached over SSH. Close the lid, lose Wi-Fi, get on a plane — the command keeps running. When you come back, the session is exactly where you left it, scrollback and all. Start a build at your desk on the Mac, check it from your iPhone on the way home, pick it up on the Mac again. One session, whichever device is in your hand. ONE DOWNLOAD, EVERY DEVICE Mac, iPhone and iPad are a single app. Your hosts and sessions look the same everywhere, and each device keeps its own keys in its own Keychain. A REAL TERMINAL ON THE MAC The Mac app renders with libghostty — the engine behind Ghostty — on the GPU, so a fast-scrolling log stays smooth. True colour, your monospaced font at the size you want, and a set of built-in themes. FIND ANYTHING IN A SESSION Press Command-F and search the session's whole tmux history, not just the rows on screen. Step through matches, jump straight to the one you want. Drag to select and the text is on your clipboard the moment you let go. SESSIONS AT A GLANCE A sidebar of every session on every host, in the order you put them in. Create, rename and close sessions without touching the command line. Turn on live previews and each row shows what its session is doing right now. FILES, WITHOUT A SECOND APP Browse the remote filesystem beside the terminal and jump straight to the directory your shell is sitting in. Drag files in to upload, drag them out to download — over SFTP on the same connection, no separate client, no separate login. CONNECT THE WAY YOU ALREADY DO Import an OpenSSH private key (ed25519 or RSA, passphrase-protected if you like) or use a password. Everything goes in the Keychain, never in a file. Host keys are checked and remembered, and a changed key is something Halyard tells you about. Running your work inside containers? Point a host at one and Halyard opens a shell inside it. ON IPHONE AND IPAD The same hosts and the same sessions in your pocket. Drop out of signal and Halyard reconnects on its own, backing off as it retries, and puts you back in the session rather than a fresh shell. DIRECT, WITH NOBODY IN THE MIDDLE Halyard connects straight from your device to your server. There is no relay, no account to create, no session data on our machines — the SSH connection is between you and your own host, and it is the only way your terminal output travels. WHAT YOU NEED A server you can reach over SSH with tmux installed on it. macOS 15 or later; iOS and iPadOS 17 or later.
